NALC "Stamp Out Hunger" Food Drive - 2010

On Saturday, May 8, volunteers and Second Harvest staff joined forces with the National Association of Letter Carriers and residents of the First Coast for the 18th Annual "Stamp Out Hunger" Food Drive - a national event that produces hundreds of thousands of pounds of much-needed food resources that will go to people ...in need in North Florida. Residents leave their donations beside their mail boxes, which are picked up by letter carriers on their normal delivery routes. All donations in Jacksonville go to Second Harvest and its network of more than 500 nonprofit agencies serving people in need.
