Bank of America mobile distribution - South Woods Elementary School

Second Harvest North Florida teamed with Bank of America to provide emergency food relief for hundreds of school children and their families at South Woods Elementary School in Elkton on Friday, Aug. 19. As new and returning students attended an open house event to meet their teachers and see their classrooms for the new school year, Second Harvest was on site to provide important food resources to help restock their shelves at home. Bags of nonperishable food items, along with fresh food and bakery items, were handed out to families 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. by volunteers from Bank of America and Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Augustine.
