Florida Association of Food Banks
Second Harvest North Florida is a member of the Florida Association of Food Banks, a partnership of 16 food banks that serve all 67 counties in the Sunshine State.
The Florida Association of Food Banks is a 501c (3) organization and is committed to making sure that families that need food can get it in a dignified manner and in a way that serves as a real safety net for those who fall on difficult times.
Second Harvest North Florida and the FAFB are both affiliated with Feeding America, the nation's largest hunger relief organization. FAFB members accomplish many of their goals by working with others such as local communities, farmers, grocery stores, private business and local, state and federal governments to find ways to improve distribution.
