This September marks the second Hunger Action Month, an opportunity to place a spotlight on the issue of domestic hunger while creating opportunities for people on the First Coast and abroad to participate in the ongoing battle against it – either through volunteering, giving or advocacy.
Even if the Jacksonville Jaguars won't win every game on the field this season, Jaguars fans can still help their team win each week in the battle against hunger. Jacksonville Jaguars fans can help the Second Harvest North Florida again this season in the “Click For Cans” promotion presented by Campbell's® Chunky™ soup.
Come out and support Second Harvest North Florida and help provide important resources to those in need throughout north Florida. Food donations will be accepted on Sept. 24 and 25 at the St. Johns Town Center and Orange Park Mall.
The 16th Annual Jaguars Family Food Drive will once again help feed needy families on the First Coast. Winn-Dixie and the Jaguars team up annually by hosting the drive in Winn-Dixie stores and on a specified gameday at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.
