The Jacksonville Suns are teaming with Winn-Dixie and Second Harvest North Florida for the Winn-Dixie Food Drive from July 20-24 at The Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. During the homestand between the Suns and Mississippi Braves, fans can bring canned goods and nonperishable food items to the Second Harvest North Florida table, which will be set up in front of the HomePlate Gate for special prizes -- including half-price tickets on Wednesday, $1 off admission on Thursday, souvenir programs on Friday and Saturday and an ice cream treat on Sunday.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Wells Fargo announced a donation of $20,000 to be divided between Second Harvest North Florida and three other Florida food banks as part of the company’s brand rollout celebration in downtown Jacksonville on Wednesday morning. The event concluded a nearly three-year conversion of Wachovia Bank branches to Wells Fargo & Co. in the northeast Florida market.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Second Harvest North Florida rolled out 13,000 cans of Campbell’s Chunky Soup at its warehouse Tuesday afternoon, where the food bank staff was joined by Jacksonville Jaguars mascot Jaxson De Ville and members of The Roar to celebrate the team’s second-place finish in the most recent Chunky Soup Click for Cans competition.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The results are in from the 10th Annual Canstruction® competition at the Jacksonville Landing, and the winner among local voters was "Gnome More Hunger" – a structure made in the form of giant garden gnome by The Haskell Company.
